Kathleen Cunningham

KATHLEEN A. CUNNINGHAM (nee McHugh), age 80, passed away May 28, 2025. Beloved wife of 50 years to the late Frank M. Cunningham; dearest mother of Kevin (Kerry), Michael (Julie), and Christopher (Monica); loving grandmother of Andrew, Caitlyn, Cameron, Keegan, Quinn, and Bruce; dear sister of Brian McHugh and the late Joan McHugh and Jack McHugh; loving aunt of many nieces and nephews.

Kathleen was a graduate of Regina High School and Ursuline College. She was an elementary school teacher at St. Paschal Baylon Catholic School, a homemaker, and an employee of Solon schools. Kathleen loved piano, swimming, doll collecting, socializing, taking care of people and animals, and was a devout Catholic.

In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate contributions in memory of Kathleen to the Alzheimer’s Association, 3 Summit Park Dr. #550, Independence, OH 44131.

Funeral Mass Tuesday, June 3, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. at Church of the Resurrection, Solon. (Please meet at the church.) Interment Lake View Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the SCHULTE & MAHON-MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, 5252 MAYFIELD RD., LYNDHURST (BETWEEN RICHMOND AND BRAINARD) MONDAY, JUNE 2 FROM 3 TO 6 P.M.
