CAMPO will discuss changes to the Unified Planning Work Program (UPWP), which is the plan for transportation projects and studies for FYs 2025 and 26. Changes include minor tweaks and deletions, as well as permission for further tweaks if requested by NDOT or federal agencies.
The accompanying RTC meeting is cancelled.
The CAMPO Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) program will be discussed, which allows businesses owned by disadvantaged individuals get a fair chance to participate in projects.
Specifically, they plan to propose a goal of 0.82% for how much of contract funds from projects assisted by the Federal Transit Administration (FTA) should go to DBE’s over FYs 2026-2028.
They’ll also discuss applying for a grant in the amount of $111,141 from the FTA to help replace a Jump Around Carson (JAC) bus. Carson City would need to provide a match of 20% or around $22,000.
