Julia Martinez
Julia Martinez, 98, of Sunnyvale, California, passed away peacefully at her residence on April 12, 2025.
On Wednesday, April 23rd friends and family are invited to attend a Viewing beginning at 9AM at the LIMA & CAMPAGNA SUNNYVALE MORTUARY in Sunnyvale. A Rosary and Funeral Mass will follow at 11AM at the CHURCH OF THE RESURRECTION in Sunnyvale, CA. Interment will follow at 1PM at Gate of Heaven Catholic Cemetery in Los Altos.
Julia is a long-time resident of Santa Clara, County moving to the area in 1935. Julia was a homemaker until her youngest children were in high school and then worked in clerical positions in the area. She loved to read, garden and enjoyed traveling and talking about her traveling memories as she aged.
Julia is preceded in death by her husband, Nick Martinez and siblings: Frank Perez, Sr. and Angelina Flores. She is survived by her three children, her son Daniel Martinez and his wife, Karen; and her two daughters, Linda Becerril, and Sylvia Kohlhardt and her husband, Albert; two grandchildren, Robert and Suzanne, and a great-granddaughter, Isabela. Julia is also survived by her sister Soledad Dominquez and a brother, Raul (Rudy) Perez as well as many other family members and friends who will sadly miss her.
