Judith Hitt

Judith Ann Hitt, 73 of Richwood, WV, passed away in her sleep on Saturday, May 31, 2025 in Canton, OH. Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 p.m. Monday, June 9, 2025 at Morris Funeral Home Chapel by Elder Tommy Watts. She was born March 30, 1952 in Richwood, WV, a daughter of the late Henry Harrison Hitt, Jr. and Vergie Ann Workman Hitt. Judy was a retired produce manager for Kroger and was a loving mother to her children. Her brother, Henry H. Hitt, III also preceded her in death. Survivors include two sons, Anthony Darren Adkins of Canton, OH, Erich Charles Adkins of Huntington, WV; three sisters, Sue Hitt Lowler of Whitehouse, TX, Brenda K. Hitt of Elkhart, IN, Angela L. Hitt of Fort Wayne, IN; a half-sister, Linda Mellert of Charleston, WV; a half-brother, David Hatley of Butler, OH; two grandchildren, Jaxson Charles Adkins and Peydon Snyder; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until service time Monday, June 9, 2025 at Morris Funeral Home, Wayne, WV.
