Joyce Crofton

Joyce C Crofton passed away peacefully in her sleep on May 29, 2025, after a long illness.

Born on January 23, 1938, in Rochester, Joyce was the daughter of W. Russell and Constance D. Chapman and the granddaughter of Erwin L. Davenport. Joyce attended Allen’s Creek School, The Columbia School and received a nursing degree from Duke University. 

Joyce is survived by her brother Russell D. Chapman, her children, Lynne Crofton, Beth Crofton, Win Crofton and David Crofton, and by seven amazing grandchildren.
