Joseph Garuccio

Joseph Garuccio peacefully passed away on April 2, 2025, in Brooklyn, NY. Born in Pozzallo, Sicily, on September 9, 1928, he spent the majority of his life in Brooklyn, where he built a legacy of love and cherished memories.

Joseph was the cherished husband of the late Concetta and the beloved father of Peter, Lina, and Lucy. His love extended to his sons-in-law, Carmelo and Carmine, and he was the adored grandfather of Christina, Lori, Anthony, Joseph, Marissa, and their significant others. Joseph also had the joy of seeing his legacy flourish through his great-grandchildren, Juliana, Ariana, Frankie, and Gabriella.

A U.S. Army veteran, Joseph later became a skilled painter, known for his work ethic and strength. Outside of his profession, he enjoyed gardening and fishing, finding joy in nature and time spent with loved ones.

Joseph was known for his selflessness, kindness, and strong sense of family. His memory will be cherished by all who knew him, and his life will be celebrated by those he touched.
