Johnson Storie

GOUVERNEUR- Johnson Storie age 73 passed away on July 28, 2025 at Massena Memorial Hospital. A private family graveside service was held on Wednesday August 6, 2025 at East Riverside Cemetery in Gouverneur with pastor Ben Lalka officiating.

John was born on June 23, 1952 in Massena, to the late Merrill and Doris (Peck) Storie. John graduate from Gouverneur high school and later attended Canton ATC and received an associates degree in Mortuary Science. John was a school bus driver for many years at the Gouverneur Central School District then later on for First Student.

Surviving John are two sisters Jane (Van) Fuller, and Judy Serviss both of Gouverneur, and many nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his parents. John was a past member of the Masonic Lodge #217 and a past member of the Shriners in Watertown. John enjoyed listening to the radio and watching NASCAR.
