John De Nardi

John De Nardi, 67, of South San Francisco, California, passed away peacefully on February 9, 2025, surrounded by his loving family.

Born on January 27, 1958, in San Francisco, California, to Raymond and Caroline De Nardi, John lived a life defined by hard work, dedication, and a deep love for those around him. He built a long and committed career at Georgia-Pacific and Morton Salt, where his work ethic was admired by colleagues and friends.

Beyond his professional life, John found joy in the simple pleasures—spending time on the bocce courts, tending to his home in Twain Harte, and making memories with family and friends. He had a passion for gardening, floating at the lake, and abalone diving, always embracing the outdoors with enthusiasm. He was a forever faithful 49ers fan, every Sunday during football season he would be cheering on his 49ers. His laughter, wisdom, and generous spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

John is survived by his devoted wife Nancy, his loving mother Caroline, his beloved daughters Jeannine (Bora) and Ashley (Trish), his adored grandson Cole, his kindhearted brothers Dan (Ruth), Ken (Rachel), Jim (Janet), nieces and nephews, his extended family and many dear friends.

A funeral service to honor John’s life will be held at Saint Veronica’s Church in South San Francisco on February 21, 2025, at 10:30 a.m. In lieu of flowers please make a donation to the American Heart Association or a charity of your choice.
