Jean Pakula

Suddenly, unexpectedly and probably trying to have a cigarette, on April 25, 2025, Jean Elizabeth Pakula “Jeannie” passed away at University Hospital in London at the age of…well…..no one’s business.

Jeannie was a compassionate, kind, loving, feisty soul who often believed many people had their heads up their….ahem…and will be missed by many. Her absence will be palpable.

Predeceased by her parents, Burton and Dorothy Harold of Corunna and brother-in-law Bob Fulton. Survived by her beloved sister Jo-Ella Fulton, daughter Mary Ann (Doug), son Michael, grandchildren Tyler, Bayleigh, Max, Dillion and Jake, niece Karen, nephew Andrew and very special grandson Brody.

Jeannie could not have survived without her breakfast club consisting of Salena, Jeff, Kelly, Len, Maggie, Christine and Lisa. A special mention to Lorraine, who owned half of Jeannie’s heart.

A highlight of Jeannie’s week was her time at her AL-ANON and AA meetings and the fellowships she formed there. A special mention to Rob, her wonderful friend who always got her to the Friday meetings….nobody messed with her Fridays!

Cremation has taken place, and a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date in June. So stay tuned, so you don’t miss it or Jeannie will be sad to not see you there….you know she will be watching!!!!

Any donations in support of Jeannie’s grandson Brody can be made, and greatly appreciated, to the estate of Jean Pakula and sent to Sarnia Cremation Services.

“She was my ‘yes’ friend, I loved her and I miss her every day “.
