Jamie Smith

Jamie Penter Smith, 65, passed away on May 13, 2025. She loved watching birds out of her windows; especially the cardinals, playing games on her phone, listening to classic rock and Aerosmith. Her all-time favorite song was “Don’t Fear the Reaper”. Jamie had major road rage and was afraid of showing it. She leaves behind three sons; James VanSchaick, Daniel Cannady, and Aubrey Finch; her mother; Dortha Penter, one sister; Cynthia McWhorter (Edwin); Five grandchildren; Rachyll Parks, Taylor Blessing, Haley Thomas, Vanessa VanSchaick, and Brookyn VanSchaick; and Four great-grandchildren. Jamie is preceded in death by her father; James Penter; and one sister; Debra Cannady.
