Horse dies in Mound House vehicle crash, driver not injured
A crash involving a horse and vehicle happened Tuesday afternoon on US-50 in Mound House, according to the Nevada Highway Patrol.
The crash was reported to NHP at 2:19 p.m. on US-50 east of Newman Lane, said NHP Sgt. Chris Brown. A Subaru struck a horse that was in the travel lane. The driver of the Subaru reported they were not injured. The horse died at the scene.
A Carson Now reader advised there were some delays in traffic as NHP investigated.
