Hermilo Armendariz
Hermilo “Tony” Armendariz Corral, 69, passed away on Saturday, August 2, 2025 in Fontana, California.
He was born on March 11, 1956 to Ramon and Ignacia Corral Armendariz in Rancho el Pichagüe, Chihuahua.
Hermilo is survived by his wife Cecilia Armendariz, his son Gabriel, his two stepdaughters: Denise Quintero and Vanessa Reihm. His 6 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren, whom he loved dearly.
Hermilo is also survived by his sister Marta Armendariz, his niece Maribel Armendariz and her two children Cynthia and Sebastian Bustillo, his nephew Jesus Ramon (Chuyin), his niece Marcia Guerrero and 2 children, and his nephew Delfinio Martinez.
Hermilo is preceded in death by his parents Ramon and Ignacia Corral Armendariz, 2 brothers Jesus and Amador Armendariz, and his granddaughter Christina Quintero.
Hermilo worked as a cook and a laborer for many years. He loved to BBQ and cook for the family. We are going to miss his famous beans, ribs, carnitas, and fried chicken and potatoes in the caso. He loved blasting Mexican music during his BBQ’s.
Hermilo’s Celebration of Life services will be held on Saturday, August 23, 2025 at the Fontana Mortuary, 8030 Mango Ave, Fontana, CA 92336. With a viewing beginning at 12:30pm, a Mass at 1:30pm, a Rosary at 2:30pm, with a reception at 4:30pm located at 16636 Reed St, Fontana, CA 92336.
