Henry Scheinerman
- May 26, 2025

Henry Ezra Scheinerman, aged 83, a man of remarkable character and devotion, passed away due to heart complications on May 20, 2025. Born to Ben and Mary Scheinerman on May 12, 1942, in Brooklyn, NY, Henry’s life was a testament to his enduring love for his family, his passion for business, and his unwavering support for those he loved.
Henry’s academic journey began in Brooklyn, where he pursued his education in business at Baruch College. This foundation propelled him into a successful career where he held various finance and accounting positions at renowned companies such as Revlon and Estee Lauder. His desire to provide his family with the best possible life eventually led him to relocate to Phoenix, Arizona to become the founder of Today’s Patio, a landmark Arizona business, where his dedication to making all employees and customers feel special were evident to all who crossed his path.
Beyond his professional life, Henry cherished his wife, Judie Scheinerman, with whom he shared a love for family and creating memories that will live on in the hearts of all he knew. Henry and Judie were high school sweethearts and lived more than 60 years together building what they loved most – a beautiful family. He was a loving brother to his sister Ina Arous and fondly remembered his deceased sister, Barbara Berger. Henry’s legacy of love is carried on through his children – Mindy, Eric (wife Jo), Rodd (wife Chris), Craig (wife Rachel), Josh (wife Lindsay), and Chad (wife Shawna)- who will remember him as kind, supportive and loving to all.
Known as the best “Grampie” by all – the joys of Henry’s life were his 18 grandchildren – Sarah, Max, Jacob, Logan, Charlie, Noah, Kadi, Ryan, Tatum, Kendall, Ella, Tyler, Kylie, Cody, Mia, Hudson, Lexi, and Drew. Each held a special place in his heart, and he relished every moment spent with them, whether it was attending their school or sporting events, teaching them the intricacies of life, or simply enjoying their company.
Henry was an avid follower of the stock market, a pastime that he approached with the same meticulousness as his professional endeavors. His love for the Brooklyn Dodgers and the New York Rangers spoke to his connection to his New York roots. But above all, it was the time spent with Judie, and his children and grandchildren that brought him the greatest joy.
Those who knew Henry will remember him as the embodiment of thoughtfulness, selflessness, and love. His actions spoke louder than words, and his impact on the lives of those around him was profound. He was the kind of person who would go out of his way to help others, expecting nothing in return but the happiness of those he cared for.
Henry’s presence will be sorely missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. He leaves behind a legacy of love, compassion, and integrity that will continue to inspire his family and friends. His influence will live on in the hearts and minds of his loved ones.
