Helen Vanderslice

Helen Francis Vanderslice, age 99 of  Philadelphia, PA, formerly of Fox Chase passed away

on October 10, 2025 at the Philadelphia Protestant Home on Martins Mill Road.

She was the devoted wife of the late Elmer C. Vanderslice, married for over 18 wonderful years.

She was preceded in death by her parents, William Reiner and Mary Reiner (Trub) and her brothers;

William, Robert and Ronald.

 She will be sadly missed by her good friends William, Christine and

their son William Campbell.

In her earlier years Helen worked for United Foods Distribution Services of Philadelphia. 

She  enjoyed gardening, shopping, going on trips with the

Saint Cecilia Seniors Club and bowling. She was also a compassionate person, always ready to lend a

helping hand. Her reliability and her unwavering support made her a cherish friend to many.

Helen also loved animals and enjoyed spending time with her dog, Pepper.

Her graveside service will be held on Tuesday, October 21, 2025 at 11 a.m. at Whitemarsh Memorial Park;  Ambler, PA
