Gregory Scott Forsell passed away peacefully on June 9, 2025. Greg was born on December 9, 1957, and spent his life surrounded by family, friends, and a deep love for the outdoors and the open road.

Greg dedicated many years of his life working for the Village of Almena before transitioning to a career as a truck driver until his retirement. He was known for his strong work ethic and big heart.

Greg found joy in riding his motorcycle, spending time hunting, and enjoying the company of friends. Nothing brought him more happiness than time spent with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren, who were the light of his life.

Greg is survived by his brother, Scott Forsell; stepdaughter, Jessica Updike Motl; grandsons Dylan Heuer (Alexis), Dawson Heuer (Abby), and Dakota; and great-grandchildren, Levi and Harper Heuer. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Cheryl Forsell; his parents, Carol and Bruce Forsell; his brother, Mark Forsell; and his grandparents.

A celebration of Greg’s life will be held at The Hammer Bar in Cumberland, Wisconsin, on Friday, June 20th at 4:00 PM. Family and friends are warmly invited to come together and honor his memory.

Greg will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
