Glen Yates

Glen Ray Yates, 79 of Grethel, KY, passed away August 31, 2025 at his residence. Born June 30, 1946 in Drift, KY, he was the son of the late Ballard & Maggie Hunt Yates. Glen is survived by his wife, Joann Hall Yates. He was an auto mechanic. Glen is survived by one son: Gary Ray Yates; one daughters: Neidra Dawn Akers; grandchildren: Christopher Coleman, Brooklyn Coleman, Summer Akers, Easton Akers, Megan Collins & Shane Moore; a host of great grandchildren and one great great grandchild; special friend: Dustin Robinson. Glen was preceded in death by one daughter, Meribeth Yates. Glen will be missed by all that knew and loved him.

A Celebration of Life will be held 5pm, Saturday, September 6, 2025 at the River of Life Church, Teaberry, KY
