Geraldine “Geri” Bramer

Geraldine “Geri” A. Bramer, 77, of Momence, IL, died on Friday, May 23, 2025, at the St. Mary’s Hospital in Kankakee, IL.  She was born on July 31, 1947 in Blue Island, IL, the daughter of Raymond and Ellen Meyer Hallberg. She married Gordon A. Bramer on August 24, 1968, in Harvey, IL. He preceded her in death on October 15, 2020.

Geri is survived by six children; Jeff (Kim) Bramer of Momence, IL, Christy (Romeo) Panozzo of Ashkum, IL, Steve Bramer of Momence, IL, Jacquelyn (Chris) Nowman of Pontiac, IL, Katie (Lyle) Gordon of Towanda, IL, and Tim (Rachel) Bramer of Ashkum, IL. Two brothers and sisters-in-law; Gene and Monique Hallberg of Port Orange, FL and Wayne and Pattie Hallberg of Horn Lake, MS Also surviving are seventeen grandchildren and two great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, her sister; JoAnne Fischer, her son; Mark Bramer, and her grandson; Alex Bramer.

She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Momence, IL. She enjoyed sewing, traveling, and reading, but she especially loved spending time with her family and the grandchildren.
