Fannie Mast
Fannie Marie Mast, age 89, of Utica, OH, peacefully passed on to her eternal reward at her residence on Tuesday, June 24, 2025, from congestive heart failure.
She was born on February 10, 1936, to the late Manasses B. and Ida (Yoder) Bontrager. On May 17, 1956, she married Freeman Mast who survives.
In addition to her husband Freeman, she is survived by seven children, Mervin (Marianna) Mast of Utica, OH, Mary (Marlin) Miller of Cheyenne, WY, Ruth (Norman) Yoder of Mt. Gilead, OH, Dan (Frieda) Mast of Benton, OH, Carolyn (James) Miller of Sarasota, FL, James (Vonda) Mast of Sarasota, FL, Joanna (Jeff) Smoker of Atglen, PA; 39 grandchildren; 76 great grandchildren; a brother Ora (Susie) Bontrager of Topeka, IN; a sister, Loretta (Marvin) Kemp of Nappanee, IN.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by 3 sisters; a brother; daughter-in-law, Rose (James) Mast; and grandson, Marlin Joel Miller.
Funeral services will be held at the Melita Fellowship Church; 9956 Camp Ohio Road, Utica, OH 43080, on Monday, June 30, 2025, at 10:00 AM with Alan Byler officiating. Burial will follow in the Melita Cemetery. Friends may call at the church on Sunday, June 29, 2025, from 2-4 and 6-8 PM.
