False Rhythms to play at Polecat Tavern July 19 in Carson City
Polecat Tavern at 260 West Winnie Lane in Carson City is pleased to announce that False Rhythms, the awesome 5-piece rock reggae band out of Gardnerville NV will on the stage in the parking lot on July 19 from 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.
This free concert is part of the Polecat Summer Concerts that are happening every Saturday night from June 07th through August 23.
Keith and Chrissi Barnett, owners of Polecat Tavern say: “We are so excited to have these guys performing at our Polecat Summer Concert series. They are so awesome and such great friends! We can’t wait.”
We have the tables and chairs brought out from inside the tavern, but we encourage you to bring camp chairs. You are welcome to bring a picnic basket too.
And don’t forget the sunscreen. The tavern will be open and have beer, wine, cocktails, mocktails, sodas, chips and prepackaged snacks, coffee & tea for sale as well.
Polecat Tavern is open Wednesday through Sunday at 1 p.m., so bring or order in your lunch and you might catch a local band in rehearsal or a soloist performing.
There’s live music up to five nights a week.
Some of our events include: Wednesday afternoon Canyon Club Radio Show Recording, Thursday afternoon Bluegrass Jam, Thursday Open Mic Nights, Friday Karaoke Nights or ZenDen Open Mic Jams, Saturday Night local and regional performers, Sunday Acoustic Jams, & so much more!
Local performers are welcome to come in to use the stage for practice and rehearsals, and the stage is always open if there is no scheduled activity. Sometimes a food truck will be stopping by in the evening as well.
The Summer Series this year began on June 7, with Keith Alan Barnett & the Lonesome Polecat Band kicking things off. We’ve already had A Carny Vibe-Grateful Dead Tribute, Dirt Road Ramblers for the line dancers, & Front Porch for all you Whatnot lovers.
The music will continue each Saturday starting at 6:30 p.m. through August 23 with Mixed Company closing out the series.
August 30 is “Play Music on the Porch Day” and we will have the patio set up for a fun Outdoor Open Mic Night. Play Music on the Porch Day is a world-wide event, check out the website: https://playmusicontheporchday.com/.
