Ewan King

Peacefully, surrounded by his loving family, on May 21st, Ewan King passed away at home in Bright’s Grove at the age of 79.

Husband of Mila for 46 years, father of Natalie and Grandpa of James. Son of Margaret and George. Brother of Patricia, Alexander, Lenora, David and Sean.

Ewan was a dedicated husband, father and grandpa. Always willing to lend an ear, offer help with any construction/handyman job around and just be there for his family and friends. His smile was infectious and made each day brighter. His love for music carried with him through his entire life from playing his trumpet in the Caribbean, the Rainbow Room, NY and for Queen Elizabeth II. Not one thing ever stopped him from his passion and pure talent. We will miss the sounds of him practicing every night, but will always remember and cherish his recordings.

The family would like to thank Dr. Moon, Dennis, Kimberly, Isabelle, Matthew and Bernie for their kindness and compassion while caring for Ewan through his journey.

Cremation has taken place, and no services will be held. Ewan will be brought to Sandbanks Provincial Park and Kleve, Germany. A Celebration of Life is to be planned at a later date with immediate family.
