Doris Hornbaker

Doris Jean Hornbaker, 86, of Big Pool, MD, passed away Sunday, June 22, 2025, at Doey’s House in Hagerstown, MD.
Born August 3, 1938, in Hagerstown, MD, she was the daughter of the late Preston Leroy Sellers and Ethel Marie (Flohr) Sellers.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Theodore Hornbaker, in 2017.
Doris was a member of Mt. Carmel United Methodist Church in Big Pool.
She retired in 2016 from Merkle in Hagerstown. In early years, she was employed with Dorbee Manufacturing and Clear Spring Country Deli. Doris enjoyed spending time with her family, traveling to the beach, camping, and bowling.
She is survived by her daughter, Crystal Keeney and husband, Steve, of Williamsport, MD; three sons, Teddy Hornbaker, Donnie Hornbaker, and wife, Jean, all of Big Pool, and Tommy Hornbaker, and wife, Karri, of Hagerstown; a sister, Jackie Snook of Clear Spring; six grandchildren, Joshua and Jenna Hornbaker, Jason, James, and Jeremy Keeney, and Andrew Lewis and wife, Jan; two great-grandchildren, Ethan and Jase Lewis; and numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family members.
In addition to her husband and parents, Doris was preceded in death by 4 sisters, Jane Roslie Nese, Lillian Dofflemyer, Esther Harbaugh, and Bessie Mills; and one brother, Preston Sellers Sr.
There will be no viewing or visitation.
Graveside services will be held on Thursday, June 26, 2025, at 9:30 a.m. at Cedar Lawn Memorial Park, 17636 W. Washington Street, Hagerstown, MD with Rev. Len Horst officiating.
