Obed Manriquez Jr.

Obed “Obito” Manriquez Jr., beloved son, brother, significant other, grandson, nephew, cousin,

and friend, passed away on June 18, 2025, at the age of 30.

Obito was born September 18, 1994, in Inglewood, California, the son of Manuela Barajas and

Obed Manriquez Sr. He is preceded in death by his grandfather Alfonso Barajas Sr. He is

survived by his mother and father, Manuela Barajas and Obed Manriquez Sr. and his two sisters

Natalie Higgins, and Aprile Manriquez, brother in-law Austin Higgins, his significant other “Z”

Zurizaday Robles, all of Phoenix, AZ. He is also leaving behind many Aunts, Uncles, cousins,

friends, car, gym, and bike community that loved him dearly. Obito attended and graduated from

Deer Valley High School in 2013, of Glendale, AZ. He owned his own body shop, Automotive

Deebo. His shop was well respected, and Obito did what he loved, with his whole heart day in

and day out. Through his body shop, is how his car community and bike community was

established. Obito loved being a part of these communities because of his love of cars and

bikes. Obito could make a friend while walking on the street, he was the life of the party, the

person to guarantee to put a smile on your face, and always had something to say. His

superpower was the ability to lift your spirits no matter the situation or circumstance. He had this

light and sense of security that gravitated you towards him, that came naturally. His life motto

was “Google it” and “It is, what it is”. He lived his life to the fullest, never seconding guessing

anything, and believed that you should always go for whatever you wanted in life. He will be

missed by many, and leaves a million great memories.
