Dolores Niduaza

Dolores Vaquilar Niduaza, 93, of Daly City, California, passed away peacefully surrounded by loved ones on May 21st.

Dolores, was a native San Franciscan who grew up in the Hayes Valley District.  She graduated from Galileo High School where she met the love of her life of 70 years.  In her early years, she worked at Zephyr Insurance Company and then loan processor at Cal Fed and American Savings.  After retirement she spent her time with late husband Otto on their greatest enjoyment and love – their family.

Dolores’s best achievement and love was being a wife and mother of three children.

Dolores was preceded in death by her husband, Otto; her father Fred; her mother Bernadette, and her son “infant Niduaza”. She is survived by her son Gary (Bill); her daughter Rosita (Bob); her son Kevin (Laura); her daughter-in-law Sandra and her grandchildren, Kevin (Lauren), Danielle (Melisa), Robby (Tara), Rachael; and her great grandchildren Jack, Jett, Nick, Hailee and Delilah.

Friends and family may visit Tuesday, June 3, from 5:00 pm at Duggan’s Serra Mortuary, 500 Westlake Avenue, Daly City with a Vigil service at 6:00 pm. A Funeral service will be celebrated Wednesday, June 4 at 10:00 am at Duggan’s Serra Mortuary followed by committal at Golden Gate National Cemetery, San Bruno at 12:00 pm.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you donate to the Alzheimer’s Association (act.alz.org) in memory of her late husband Otto who battled dementia for three years.
