Jerry Greer

Jerry Greer, age 68 of Prestonsburg, Kentucky, passed away on Saturday, May 24, 2025 at his residence. He was born April 19, 1957 in Martin, Kentucky to the late Elmer & Bertha Bryant Greer. He was the husband of Debbie McKnight Greer and the late Tammy McKenzie Greer. He was a member of Dwale Pentecostal Church. Along with his wife he is survived by his Sons: Eddie (Andrea) McKenzie of Prestonsburg, Kentucky & Jerry Elmer Blake (Devon) Greer of Staffordsville, Kentucky; Grandchildren: Nathaniel McKenzie, Zachary McKenzie, Brayden McKenzie, Keegan Brown & Liam Bergstrom; Brothers & Sisters: Larry Bruce Greer of Meta, Kentucky, Fred Greer of Kite, Kentucky, Ruth Hall of Prestonsburg, Kentucky, Tessie Jarrell of Prestonsburg, Kentucky, Betty Shell of Prestonsburg, Kentucky, Violet Blanton of Indiana, Melissa Riddle of Dwale, Kentucky & Bessie Carver of Printer, Kentucky. Along with his parents and first wife he was preceded in death by his son: Daniel Wayne McKenzie & Brothers: Delmer Greer & Kenny Greer. He will be missed by all that knew and loved him.

Visitation will begin Tuesday, May 27, 2025 at 6pm at the funeral home and will continue all day Wednesday, May 28, 2025

Funeral Services will be held Thursday, May 29, 2025 at 11am at Nelson Frazier Funeral Home, Martin, Kentucky with William Jarrell officiating

Burial will follow at Owens Cemetery, Prestonsburg, Kentucky
