Dennis Moore

Dennis C. Moore, 86, of Northampton, died peacefully at home, surrounded by his loving family on Tuesday June 3, 2025. He was the husband of Mary Jane (Miletics) Moore and celebrated 58 years of marriage together this year. Born in Allentown, he was the son of the late John F. and Mary A. (Stanz) Moore.

After high school, Dennis honorably served his country in the Army and was stationed in Germany. He was a faithful member of Queenship of Mary Catholic Church in Northampton. Dennis owned the John F. Moore Insurance Agency, a family business his father started, for 50 years before retiring. He was an avid sportsman and loved hunting, trap shooting, rodeos and golfing.

Above all he was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather who was dedicated to his family. His radiant smile will be missed by all.

Surviving along with his wife Mary Jane, is his daughter Gina M. Moore, son John P. Moore, daughter Marguerite Moore, sister Dolores DiSante, grandchildren Brandon Werley and wife Yadira, Taylor Garber, great grandchildren Ryan and Emma Grace on the way! The family would like to thank Dennis’s caregiver, Becky for her kindness and compassion.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30am, Monday, June 9, 2025, at Queenship of Mary Church, 1324 Newport Avenue, Northampton, PA 18067. Interment with military honors to follow at Our Lady of Hungary Cemetery. Brubaker Funeral Home, Inc. is honored to handle the arrangements.
