David Ramosa

Wauregan – David Ramosa, 55, of Wauregan, died May 3, 2025, at Davis Place in Danielson. He was the loving partner of Michelle Hopps.

David spent a good part of his life creating harmony between work and passion. A natural-born auctioneer, he was able to spot value in what others may have overlooked as clutter. David was a man of rhythm – in words, music and life. He had a gift for both guitar and keyboard and a love of playing cards in the company of his friends.

David is survived by his loving partner of eighteen years, Michelle Hopps of Wauregan, CT; two sons, Stephen and Matthew Ramosa of NY; three step-daughters, Chelsea Gamache and her husband Ben Gamache of Moosup, CT, Amber Hopps of Wauregan, CT, Hanah Hopps and her fiancé Spencer Terwilliger of Danielson, CT. He also leaves behind his granddaughter Mackenzie, who was the love of his life, along with many siblings, nieces, nephews and friends.

The family invites everyone to celebrate his life with them on Saturday May 10th from 12:00 pm – 6:00pm at the American Legion 66 Prospect street Moosup, CT where he held many of his auctions which he enjoyed very much.
