David Evans

David Brian Evans, 65 of Delaware passed peacefully, Sunday August 24, 2025 at the Kobacker House in Columbus.

Born May 8, 1960 in Columbus, Ohio, the son of George Evans Sr. & O. Louise (Winzenried). David graduated from Buckeye Valley High School.

David worked in the maintenance department for Willow Brook. In his spare time, he enjoyed woodworking, art and was an amazing chess player. Having his auto accident at 18 didn’t slow him down with his brain injury. He pushed through everyday and enjoyed living his life and spending time with his family.

Left to cherish his memory are his mother O. Louise Evans; brothers George A. Evans Jr. of Tennessee and Evan (Lori) Evans of Radnor; nephews Cory (Krista), Andrew (Brooke), Adam (Heather) and Brandon (Lisa); 6 great- nieces and 3 great-nephews.

David was preceded in death by his father George and brother John R. “Johnny” Evans.

Friends may call on Sunday, August 31, 2025 from 2:00pm – 4:00 pm at the Snyder Funeral Center, Delaware Chapel, 101 Valleyside Drive, Delaware, Ohio 43015, where memorial services celebrating David’s life will take place at 4:00 pm. Burial will take place at Radnor Cemetery at a later date.
