Curtis Trotter Jr.
Curtis “Bug” Trotter, Jr., 64 of Yorktown, passed away Monday, August 11, 2025. He was born October 21, 1960 to Oria Nelson and the late Curtis Trotter, Sr. Curtis was an avid hunter and fisherman and loved spending time with his family and friends.
Survivors also include six brothers, Andre Trotter (Latoya) of Dumas, Darrick Trotter of Pine Bluff, Marcus Trotter (Veronica) of Washington, Carl Trotter of Michigan, Vincent West (Carlette) of Little Rock, and Dwayne Hillard of New York; eight sisters, Kizzy Trotter of Star City, Falon Phillips (Tracy Davis) of Pine Bluff, Kurteya Trotter of Pine Bluff, Yvette Scaver of Pine Bluff, Chiquito Jenkins (Gaylon) of Little Rock, Christine Harris (Columbus) of Texas, Insha Hillard and Mordicie Hillard, both of New York; and a best friend, Gary Whaley of Tarry.
Visitation will be held Friday, August 22nd, 2025 from 1:00-2:00PM at Grifin Funeral Service in Star City. Funeral services will follow at 2:00PM with Pastor Andrew Winston officiating. There will be no committal following the funeral.
