Catherine A. Perman, 73
Catherine A. Perman, 73 of Ashland passed away on Saturday, May 31, 2025 in her home with her family by her side.
She was born on November 19, 1951 in Ravenna, the daughter of the late Charles and Rose (nee Weltmer) Funk Fulton.
Catherine graduated from Crestview High School, Class of 1970.
She married the love of her life, Edward Bruce Perman on April 17, 1970.
Catherine was employed for many years at HeadStart as the parent coordinator.
Throughout her life, she was an active member at the Ashland Senior Center, Eagles Club Aerie#2178, and loved to bowl at both King and Luray Lanes on the Eagles and Friday night leagues.
Catherine is survived by her loving husband of 55 years, Edward Perman of Ashland; two sons, Edward Perman Jr. of Ashland and Chris Perman of Ashland; five grandchildren, Brittany (Andy) Caine of Lodi, Cody Perman of Ashland, Brooke (Aaron) Metcalf of Ashland, Austyn Perman of Mansfield, and Haley Perman of Mansfield; seven great grandchildren, Kayla, Layla, and Gannon Baum, Aaron Metcalf Jr., Autumn Caine, Asher Perman, and Leighton Henriquez; one sister, Deborah Mullet of Ashland; one brother, Charles Fulton Jr. of Hobbs, New Mexico; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
In addition to her parents, Catherine is preceded in death by several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, June 4, 2025 at 12:00 p.m. in the Denbow-Gasche Funeral Home with Reverend Harry Strachan presiding. Interment will follow in the Ashland County Memorial Park. Friends and family may visit one hour prior to the service from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
