Carson City firefighters knock down small brush fire off Oak Ridge Drive

Carson City Fire Department knocked down a small brush fire early Saturday morning in the area of Oak Ridge Drive on the west side of town.

Dispatch was alerted to the fire, reported at around 3:17 a.m., in the area of the 2800 to 3000 block of Oak Ridge Drive. Arriving first responders reported brush and a tree was on fire. The fire was quickly knocked down.

At this time there is no report of damage to any structures. The cause is under investigation.
