Carson City Culture and Tourism Authority seeks applications for Hotel-Motel Representative

The Carson City Board of Supervisors is seeking applications from persons interested in serving on the Carson City Culture & Tourism Authority (“CTA”).
This Board oversees all tourism matters within Carson City.
Meetings are held the second Monday of every month at 4:00 p.m. at the Community Center in the Sierra Room.
Applicants must be willing to commit approximately six to eight hours a month.
There is one (1) position open to serve a 2-year term, for a person who can represent “the hotel motel industry.”
The Board of Supervisors will interview and appoint the qualified person to the Board. Applicants must be a representative from a Carson City Hotel/Motel/RV Park to qualify.
All members will serve without compensation.

All applications submitted to this office will be considered public information.
Applications will be accepted until June 13, 2025. The Board of Supervisors will interview and appoint a qualified person to the Board.
Interviews for this volunteer position are tentatively planned to be held at a regularly scheduled Board of Supervisors meeting on a Thursday, July 3, 2025.
