Mom gave her heart to Jesus, was baptized as a young lady, and was a faithful member of Maysville Christian Fellowship. She loved people, and she had many friends. She sent hundreds of cards and prayed for all the people she knew.
Mom was talented in sewing and pieced many quilts and baked the best pumpkin pies. She loved pampering her family and making special foods.
Three years ago, she was diagnosed with lymphoma, and after taking chemotherapy, she was cancer-free for over two years.
On July 4th she complained of stomach pain, and a month later she was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. She didn’t want any treatment and was resigned to the Lord’s will, praising Him for His mercy and saving love.
