Amy Wisner

Amy Lena Wisner, nee Nielsen, born March 19, 1925, on a farm in Barronett, WI, passed away May 3, 2025, in Shell Lake at the age of 100. She was the daughter of Christ Jens and Anna Volberg Peterson Nielsen. She was married to Roland Wisner on March 30, 1945.

Amy worked for many years as a CNA at the Spooner Nursing Home.

She is survived by three children: Diana Erickson (Dale), Gary Wisner (Annette) and Dean Wisner; five grandchildren: LeAnne, Darren, Suzanne, Tracey, and Jason; seven great grandchildren: Justin, Brittany, Austin, Breanna, Angel, Zachary, and Zoe; three great great grandchildren: Faith, Blake, and Colten; and another two on the way. Amy was preceded in death by her husband, Roland; brothers: Richard, Norbert, Harry, and Raymond; sisters: Mary Scribner, Ellen Sandstorm, Agnes Ferguson, Della Snowbank, and Margaret Moe; twins, Vera and Vern Nielsen.
