Alton Delanie Hall, 89, of International Falls, Minnesota died on Friday, May 9, 2025, at the Littlefork Care Center.

He was born July 2, 1935, to Melvin and Ether (Malone) Hall Sr. in Frontier, Minnesota. He grew up in Frontier and moved to International Falls in 1941. In 1958, he enlisted in the U.S. Army and was in the Army Transportation Corp. After his enlistment, he returned to the Falls in 1961 and worked at the Insulite Plant. He later moved to St. Paul, Minnesota and continued to work for the Insulite Div. In 1970, he started working at the Masonite Corp. He was a heavy machine operator for Pine Bend Paving, working on the Asphalt Plant. After retiring in 2006, he returned to International Falls.

Alton enjoyed hunting, fishing, and traveling with his wife, Annette. He was also a member of the V.F.W. Club and the Salvation Army.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Melvin Sr. and Esther; wife, Annette; brothers, Duane, Francis, and Melvin Jr; and sister, Kathleen Harder.

Alton is survived by his son, Steve Davis; daughters, Linda Remick and Susan Hoefer; grandchildren, Jennifer, Jolene, Jeffrey, Jethro, Brian, and Anthony; eleven great-grandchildren; brother, David Hall; and many nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, May 20, 2025, at 2:00 PM at Forest Hill Cemetery in International Falls in the V.F.W. section with full military rites.
