64, longtime resident of Chicago’s southside, Gage Park neighborhood, passed away May 17, 2025. Beloved wife of the late David Vasquez; loving mother of David Vasquez, Lizbeth Najera, and Herman Najera; cherished grandmother of David Vasquez Jr., Jennifer Vasquez, Christian Manzano, Justin Manzano, Giovanni Manzano, Jayden Vasquez, Faith Vasquez, Lorenzo Vasquez, Ayana Portalatin, and Ayden Avilia; dearest sister of Olga Deltoro, Tora Saenz, Roberto Najera, and Isabel Najera Saenz; also survived by numerous loving nieces and nephews.

Alicia was preceded in death by her parents Jesus Najera and Maria Rodarte.

Alicia enjoyed cooking, shopping, and watching tv, mainly homesteading and off-grid living series. Most of all Alicia cherished time spent with her family, especially her grandchildren. She will deeply missed by all who knew her.

Services will be held at CENTRAL CHAPEL, 6158 S. Central Ave., Chicago, IL, where family and friends will gather on Sunday, May 25, 2025 from 3 to 8 p.m. Funeral TBD. Cremation following in accordance with her wishes.
