John McKegney

John Paul McKegney February 14, 1947 – October 9, 2025 Passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Thursday, October 9, 2025, at Trillium Ridge Nursing Home, at the age of 78.

Predeceased by his parents John and Mary McKegney, his youngest son Michael, and his sister Judy. Paul will be lovingly remembered by his wife Hazel (nee Sanderson), his son John (Angela), and his grandchildren Hazel McKegney and Christopher McKegney.

Paul and Hazel were hard-working volunteers at Kingston Community Living for many years. Paul enjoyed being in nature, gardening and spending time with his family.

A Celebration of Life will be held at the James Reid Funeral Home, 1900 John Counter Blvd., Kingston, Ontario (please enter through the rear doors of the parking lot) on Saturday, October 25, 2025, starting at 1:00pm until 3:00pm, with words will take place at 2:00pm.

In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Paul can be made to Kingston Community Living.
