Theodore Murello

Theodore (Ted) Murello of Brewster, NY passed away at home on October 1, 2025, at the age of 84.

Ted was born in Danbury, CT on June 21, 1941. Son of the late Pasquale and Amelia ‘Ginger’ (Mitchell) Murello.

He graduated from Brewster High School in 1958. He then learned to become a dental technician in Carmel, NY.

He joined the Air Force from 1963 to 1967 and was stationed in Colorado. Upon discharge, he stayed and started a dental lab. He lived most of his life in the mountains and eventually settled in Eastern Plains of Forth Lupton, bringing his dental lab everywhere he went.

Ted loved cars and spent a lot of time drag racing. He eventually became an avid Denver Broncos and Colorado Rockies fan.

Ted always had dogs keeping him company, finishing with his beloved Sophia.

Ted loved his air force roots and was very proud of the banner now hanging across from his childhood home in Brewster.

Ted is survived by his two children, Patrick and Lisa; his brother and sister-in-law Tyler and Laurie; and his good friend Brian from Colorado.

Funeral services will be private.
