William C. “Bill” Donehue

William C. “Bill” Donehue, 72, of Canton, passed away Sunday, October 24, 2021 in his home.

Born in Dover, he was the son of the late Charles F. and Edith D. (Starkey) Donehue and had retired from an Aerial Photography company where he had worked in sales. Bill was an honorably discharged veteran having served with the United States Navy and was an avid reader and loved gardening.

Bill is survived by his brother Les (Jeanne) Donehue of New Philadelphia; his sister, Susan (John) Grubbs of Zanesville; a step-brother, Steve (Teresa) Dittmer; a step-sister, Polly (Brian) Burrell; a step- brother-in-law, Joe Ullom and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Bill is preceded in death by his step-sister, Sally Ullom.

In keeping with his wishes, Bill is to be cremated through the care of the Linn-Hert-Geib Funeral Home at New Philadelphia and no public visitation or service is to be held.

The family requests that to honor Bill’s memory, memorial contributions be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
