Vicky Lynn Beatty, 60, of Springfield, died at 7:03 pm, Friday, April 30, 2021 at Memorial Medical Center. She was born November 19, 1960 in Taylorville, IL to Richard F. Reed and Margaret “Peggy” Danni (Longdon). She married Paul M. Beatty January 14, 2012.

She is survived by her husband, Paul; daughter, Abranda (Alfie DeFrates) VonLanken of Springfield; grandson, Nolan DeFrates; mother, Margaret “Peggy” Danni of Springfield; one brother, David (Rebecca) Reed of Edinburg; and several cousins.

She was preceded in death by her father.

Vicky enjoyed spending time with her grandson, Nolan. She loved travelling and cooking.
She retired from the State of Illinois EPA after many years of service.

The family will host a Celebration of Life from 2 – 5 pm on Saturday, May 22, 2021 at the TRN Club in Springfield.
