Verna M. Holder

Verna M. Holder 67, of Sherman, passed away on Monday, January 31, 2022 at her home.  She was born August 17, 1954 in Springfield, to Orlando “Bucky” and Marie Gazza Viola.

Survivors include her partner, George Kramer of Sherman; one brother, Vincent Viola of LeHigh Acres, FL; one niece, one nephew and one great niece.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Nicholas Viola.

Verna graduated from Williamsville High School in 1972.  She retired from Universal Guarantee Insurance Company.

She enjoyed shopping and socializing with friends.

Visitation: 10 – 11:30 am, Wednesday, February 9, 2022 at Staab Funeral Home – Sherman.

Funeral Service:   11:30 am, Wednesday, February 9, 2022 at Staab Funeral Home – Sherman with Rev. George Nellikunnel officiating.  Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

CDC protocol shall be followed.
