Tracy Alan Smith

Tracy Alan Smith, 60 of Sherman, died on Wednesday, July 14, 2021, at Memorial Medical Center.  He was born November 6, 1960 in Springfield, to Robert “Bob” and Patricia “Patty” Yocum Smith.

He is survived by four nieces, Laura Smith, Melissa (Chris) Hibbs Edwards, Brittany Hibbs and Sarah (Jeremiah) Durham; four nephews, Bobby Smith, Jr., Mike (Carrie) Smith, Branden (Amber) Smith and Josh (Amy) Smith; one sister-in-law, Martie Smith; one brother-in-law, Hank Hibbs; several great nieces and nephews; and his four-legged friend, Bella.

He was preceded in death by his parents; long time companion, Sue Farley; one nephew, Shane Smith; sister, Sandy Hibbs and two brothers, Bobby and Rich Smith; and his beloved dog, Koko.

Tracy was a factory technician and had previously worked for Solomon Colors.

He was a member of Central Illinois Highrollers in the 1980’s where he made many friends. He loved fishing, camping and 4 wheeling. Family gatherings were always a joy with fishing trips, BBQ’s and Holiday parties.

Visitation: 3:30 – 5:30 pm, Sunday, July 18, 2021 at Staab Funeral Home – Sherman.

Funeral Service:  5:30 pm, Sunday, July 18, 2021 at Staab Funeral Home – Sherman with Mark Peters officiating.
