Thomas Eugene Meeker, 85, of Cedar Rapids, died Tuesday January 30, 2024, in Living Center West. per Tom’s request, there will be no service or visitation. Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Survivors include his daughters, Amy Fiser of Cedar Rapids, Iowa and Ivy Meeker of Marion, Iowa, grandchildren; Cale Cannoy, Quinn Cannoy, Amber Fiser and Camryn Cannoy. He was preceded in death by his parents and wife Patricia Meeker.

Tom was born August 7, 1938, in Ottumwa, Iowa, the son of Clarence and Vera (Jackson) Meeker. Tom married Patricia S. Puckhaber on October 31, 1964, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Tom retired from Rockwell Collins as a Welder in 1995. He served in the Navy from 1956-1958. Tom enjoyed watching his grandchildren play sports, fishing and camping.
