Theresa Anne Christensen, 59, of Anamosa died after a long illness on Monday, January 29, 2024 at Mercy Medical Center. Service: 10 a.m., Monday at St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church by Rev. Aaron Junge. Burial: Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family from 3 to 5 p.m., Sunday at Teahen Funeral Home.

Theresa is survived by her children, Amber Swint of Texas, Heather Collier of Ormond Beach, FL, Nicholas Christensen of Omaha, NE, Melissa Halbert of Anamosa, and Ryan Williams of Cedar Rapids; boyfriend, Stacey Berrier of Cedar Rapids; grandchildren, Carter, Easton Sackett, and Emersyn Lincoln; brother, Mark Christensen; sisters, Lisa Gillespie, Susan Christensen, both from Cedar Rapids and Monica (Troy) Gripp from Beaverton, OR. She was preceded in death by her parents, Bernard and Marilyn Christensen of Cedar Rapids.

Theresa was born on March 11, 1964, in Cedar Rapids, the daughter of Bernard and Marilyn Sullivan Christensen. She graduated in 1982 from Prairie High School. Theresa worked as a medical assistant at Mercy Family Practice.

Theresa enjoyed gardening, boating, hiking, kayaking and going to concerts. She loved motorcycle rides with her boyfriend, and spending time with her grandkids, family and friends. She will be remembered as a generous and giving person who would do anything for anyone.
