Suzanne Corn

Suzanne “Suzie” M. Corn of Hendersonville, NC passed away on Thursday, December 23, 2021.

Suzie was born on October 22, 1952, in Germany to the late George Moore and Louise Suttles Moore.

Suzie was a devoted homemaker and taking care of her family was primary.  Suzie was employed part-time at places like Mountain Rug Mills, World of Clothing, and Chicken Shack.

Suzie was a longtime member of Locust Grove Baptist Church.

Suzie is survived her husband of 51 years, Jerry Corn; sons, Jefferey Corn (Jodie) and Jeremy Corn; grandchildren, Nic Scroggs, Drew Corn, Allison Corn, Chase Scroggs, Ryelan Heath, and Emma Corn; great-grandchildren, Charlie and Liylah Scroggs; brothers and sisters, Connie Barnes (David), George Moore, Nancy Whitten (Burt), Allen Moore (Gail), Peggy Moore, Lisa Sinclair (Robert), and Julie Chapel (Mark); uncle, James Suttles; and many other nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received for a visitation at Shuler Funeral Home on Saturday, January 15, 2022 at 1PM with a  memorial service and celebration of Suzie’s life following at 2PM with Rev. James Maybin officiating.

Memorial Contributions may be made in Suzie’s memory to the American Cancer Society and St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
