Susan Thalheimer Strauss, 93, passed peacefully at Oaknoll Retirement Residence on May 10, 2023.

The family invites friends to a special remembrance from 2 to 4 p.m. Thursday, June 15, at the Heiden Room at Oaknoll, 1 Oaknoll Ct., Iowa City, Iowa.

Susan is survived by her daughter, Joan Strauss of Boston.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, John; daughter, Mary Strauss-Penka; and son-in-law.
