Stephen Patrick Massey
Stephen Patrick Massey, age 32, of Plano, IL passed away on Sunday, May 30, 2021 at his home. He was born on December 7, 1988 in Orlando, FL the son of Terry and Susan (Wade) Massey.
Stephen was united in marriage on August 11, 2012 to the former Kristephanie Drane and spent the next 8 years happily together. He was a devoted member of Grace Pointe Church in Naperville, IL. Stephen worked as an automotive engineer and was an auto enthusiast. He played hockey for many years and was a huge Chicago Blackhawks fan. Stephen enjoyed collecting Funko Pops with his children and spending time playing his guitar. He was a loving husband, father, son, son-in-law brother, uncle, nephew, and cousin, who will be deeply missed by his friends and family
Stephen is survived by his wife Kristephanie Massey of Plano, IL,; his children Sophia Massey, and Kade Massey of Plano, IL; his parents, Terry and Susan Massey of Sugar Grove, IL; his brother Jacob (Fiance Taylor Morrissey) Massey of Maple Park, IL; his sister Lauren (Kevin) Lungren of Montgomery, IL; his sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law; and aunts, uncles, cousins and several nieces and nephews.
Stephen was preceded in death by both his maternal and paternal grandparents.
A Funeral Service will be held on 11:00 AM, Friday, June 4, 2021 the Grace Pointe Church 1320 E. Chicago Ave Naperville, IL. Interment will be private.
Stephens family requests that everyone wears green, his favorite color.
Friends may visit from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM on Thursday, June 3, 2021 at Nelson Funeral Home, 1617 N. Bridge St. Yorkville, IL.
Memorials may be directed to his family for the future education of his children.
