Stephen’s very early years were filled with many carefree, sun filled days chasing parrots in Caracas Venezuela as his father worked for Halliburton there. His family returned stateside and settled in Midland Texas where Stephen attended Alamo Jr. High School and Lee High School where he was the president of his freshman class. He excelled in his favorite sports of basketball and baseball and lettered in both. Stephen attended Texas Tech University and answered the calling of his country enlisting in the US Marines. Stephen went on to form Tillman Drilling and Equipment of Dallas, Texas and Pure Spring Water Company of Granbury, Texas.
