Sherida Lea Parks
Sherida Lea Parks, age 75 of Sandwich, IL passed away on Sunday, June 12, 2022 at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born on November 5, 1946 in Aurora, IL the daughter of Norman and Elaine (Caswell) Clouse.
Sherry was united in marriage on February 24, 1980 to Raymond Parks and they spent the next 42 years happily together. Mrs. Parks was, for many years, the Records Supervisor of the Naperville Police Department in Naperville, IL. Sherry was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, daughter, sister and aunt who will be deeply missed by her family and many friends.
Sherry is survived by her husband, Ray Parks of Sandwich, IL; her daughters, Debra (Matthew) Phillips of Naperville, IL, Revilee (Steven) Lake of Portimao, Portugal and Jennine (James) Kerry of Plano, IL; her grandchildren, Kylie Phillips, Haley Kerry, Jackson Kerry, Leigh Phillips, Jonathon Lake-Brown, and Ryann Kerry; her great-grandsons, Jasen Johnson and Aidan Hernandez; her siblings, Barbara (Kelly) Rose of TN, Bethany (Gerald, deceased) Drummond of SC, Gloria (Tommy, deceased) Sutton of TN, John (Marie) Steil of MO, Patricia (Steve) Makris of FL, Darrel (Lisa) Linden of FL, Gina Juliano of FL, Lisa (Edward) Tolbert of IL, and Daniel (Kim) Stout of KY; her dear aunt, Anna Capet, also numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father, Norman Clouse; her mother, Elaine Stout; her step-father, Donald Steil; her children, Billi, Sherri and William Jr. at birth; and her brother, Peter Paul Stout.
A Funeral Service will be held at 3:00 PM on Wednesday, June 15, 2022 at the Nelson Funeral Home, 1010 West South Street, Plano, IL. Interment will be private in the Little Rock Township Cemetery in Plano, IL.
Friends may visit from 1:00 PM until the Hour of Service on Wednesday, June 15, 2022 at the Funeral Home in Plano, IL.
