Sharon E. Roberts, 44, of New Philadelphia, passed away peacefully while surrounded by her family on Monday, November 28, 2022, following a lengthy battle with cancer.
Born in Dover, she was the daughter of Ervin N. and Martha I. (Hochstetler) Miller and had graduated in 1996 from Garaway High School at Sugarcreek. Sharon was employed at Allied Machine at Dover where she worked as a Customer Service Representative.
Shortly after her graduation, on October 19, 1996, Sharon married the love of her life, Ronald D. “Ron” Roberts and together they were blessed with three children. For her, family was everything. She was a dedicated wife and mother who loved nothing more than just spending time with her family. She was a very creative person and enjoyed decorating both inside and outside of their home. Along with her husband, Sharon attended Mosaic Community Church at New Philadelphia.
In addition to her parents and her husband, Sharon is survived by her three children, Corey M. Roberts of New Philadelphia, Veronica L. (Kenny) Lott of Columbus and Brittani L. Roberts of the residence; her sister, Susan (Mike) Masters of New Philadelphia; her brother, Jacob (Heidi) Miller of Dover and numerous Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, Nieces and Nephews.
Sharon was preceded in death by her Maternal Grandparents, her Paternal Grandparents and three cousins.
Visitation will be held Friday, December 2, 2022 from 5 to 8 PM in the Geib Funeral Center at Dover. A service celebrating Sharon’s life will be held on Saturday, December 3, 2022 at 10:30 AM in the Geib Funeral Center at Dover with Pastor Rich VanArsdalen officiating. Burial will be in Schoenbrunn Meadow Burial Park at New Philadelphia.
