Shannon R. Ruskin

Shannon R. Ruskin, age 48 of Hinckley, IL passed away on Friday, November 24, 2023 at her home, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on September 8, 1975 in Elmhurst, IL the daughter of Lois J. (Dixon) and Archie Chavez.

Shannon was currently employed as the General Manager of Blue Line Bar & Grill, Addison, IL. She was a loving mother, fiancé, daughter, sister and aunt who will be deeply missed by her family and many friends.

Shannon is survived by her children, Christopher Duncan and Abigail Duncan, both of Hinckley, IL; her fiancé, Jason Vanderlinden; her mother, Lois (Archie) Chavez of Maple Park, IL; and her five brothers.

A Funeral Service will be held at 8:00 PM on Tuesday, November 28, 2023 at the Nelson Funeral Home, 1617 North Bridge Street, Yorkville, IL. Interment will be private.

Friends may visit from 5:00 PM until the Hour of Service on Tuesday, November 28, 2023 at the Funeral Home in Yorkville, IL.
